27 Feb Pharmaceutical spending in the Canary Islands decreases in January

By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Regarding the same month of 2025, spending on drugs has increased 1,05 por ciento. Then the
amount of pharmaceutical expenditure was recorded in 58,28 millones de euros.

In January of this year, a total of 5,1 millions of drug containers. The amount is
lower than that of the month of December (a -1,7 por ciento), and also lower compared to the same month of 2025,
with a decrease in 1,6 por ciento. The average expense for each container dispensed was 11,50
euros, a figure slightly lower than that which has occurred in recent months.
