By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (504.800), a
38,2% of the total number of tourists. Seguidos de los turistas residentes en el resto de territorio español
(195.742), representando el 14,8% of the total, y de los residentes en Alemania (181.032), contributing a
13,7% del total de turistas recibidos.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas fue Tenerife (557.010), seguida de Gran Canaria, con
314.423 tourists.
