By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (565.329), a
36,4% of the total number of tourists. Seguidos de los turistas residentes en Alemania (240.215),
representando el 15,5% of the total, y de los residentes en el resto de territorio español (156.971),
contributing a 10,1% del total de turistas recibidos.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas fue Tenerife (617.714), seguida de Gran Canaria, con
410.664 tourists.
