By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (543.518), a
37,5% of the total number of tourists. Seguidos de los turistas residentes en el resto de territorio español
(239.594), representando el 16,5% of the total, y de los residentes en Alemania (173.203), contributing a
11,9% del total de turistas recibidos.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas fue Tenerife (603.529), seguida de Gran Canaria, con
335.413 tourists.
