By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias Regarding the year 2014 disminuyeron un 1,5% los nacimientos en Canarias. They went up on the islands of La
Palma (529, a 5,8% de variación interanual), Lanzarote (1.388, 5,4%), El Hierro (72, 4,3%) and
Fuerteventura (967, 1,2%). They varied very slightly compared to the previous year in Tenerife (7.009,
-0,2%), bajando en Gran Canaria (6.068, -5,3%) and La Gomera (113, -5,8%).
