By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias En total se contabilizaron 3.857 personas reclusas en Canarias en febrero de 2026, de los que 3.613
son hombres (el 93,7%). This represents an increase in 2,32% en hombres (82 reclusos más) y del 4,72%
in women (11 reclusas más) compared to the same month of the previous year.
