15 May Spending by tourists visiting the Canary Islands increases in the first quarter 2024

first quarter of 2023 (168,52 euros).
The main emitting countries in terms of spending level were the United Kingdom (with the 29,8% of the

Lanzarote (15,5%) Fuerteventura (12,7%) y La Palma (1%).

annual increase of 21,1%. The following items were the expenditure on international transportation and
national and food, con un 27,1% y un 15,4% of the total, respectivamente. With an annual increase

In Germany, the region of North Rhine-Westphalia was the one that accumulated the greatest amount of spending with
