By Instituto Canario de Estadística, (ISTAC), del Gobierno de Canarias p> Tourists from the United Kingdom represented the largest number of entries (493.426), a
35,3% of the total number of tourists; followed by resident tourists Germany (251.513), which represent
el 18% of the total, and residents in the rest of Spain (168.321), que aportan un 12% of the total
of tourists received.

La isla que recibió mayor número de turistas tanto extranjeros como residentes en la Península fue
Tenerife (578.602), seguida de Gran Canaria, con 352.423 tourists.
